Note keep on sounding even after changing the perfomance nr.

Well, the title says it... a note keeps on sounding even after changing the perfomance number. I have to switch the nord lead 1 off and on again and at first it's alright, but then it may happen eventually. Why is that? Help is aprreciated.

Maybe a firmware issue? Anyway, does pressing the panic button (shift + KBD TRACK) also stop the note that keeps sounding?

Didn't know that. I thought it could be just dirt. But before opening the nord and trying to clean it, I'll give the panic combo a try. Thanks!

it does work, even though it's a nord lead 1... but it happens way too often. any other solutions will be (very) welcome.
and... how do I update the firmware?

Notes hanging are due to the "MIDI Note Off" message not being sent or, if sent, not recognised.
Do you have the kbd connected with MIDI to something else?

If not and the note is always the same, I would suspect some mechanical problem with that particular key.
Sorry I do not know how to upgrade the firmware in your model. Did you check the Nord site?

I'm using the NL1 over an amp
will check if the hanging note is always the same.
