my Nord wave fell to the floor, one key not working right!
Hello, yesterday my nord wave fell to the floor, today i find out the B3 key only sounds at full preasure. it's a problem, besides my warranty is out, and im not experienced at opening keyboards. I'd love to see pictures from inside a wave or similar synth like a lead. i guess something must be broken, because it suffered an impact. please help me, the wave is one of my best friends.

You probably need to open her up and asses the damage or have someone do that for you. If you search the Wave, Lead or Electro sections you should find multiple threads about this, some with instructions (those models are fairly similar).
From your description, it sounds to me that the circuit board around B3 is warped (bent) or even cracked due to the fall. Is the black bottom half of the Wave still straight, or is it bent due to the drop? A large part of the frame the keyboard sits on is plastic. It may also be something happened to that when it fell.
Even thought you're not supposed to open them, the Nords are pretty maintenance friendly (something like a Virus TI is much worse). If you think you're up to it (it is not actually that hard) you could open her up and inspect the keyboard. Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable doing though. If you do open her up and it turns out there's little damage you might be able to do something about it, but if it is worse she'll probably have to see the keyboard doctor.

Re: my Nord wave fell to the floor, one key not working righ
hi mjbrands! thanks for your reply. nothing is bent or damaged in the outside. i had it in the bag when it fell.
ok, i think i'm up to it, and im gonna open her. i hope i won't have to buy any component or anything, because i guess they're hard to get. i live in argentina, and it's not easy to get components here. besides im 1000 km away from buenos aires
i'll let you know how i did.

this video may or may not help you.
it helped me fix my virus.
it's about cleaning contacts but there are other good things you might glean from it about opening a keyboard to inspect.
good luck!
