Nord electro 1 fuse

Post by soulsounds65 »

Well I've spent about 3 weeks on and off searching for a fuse for my Nord Electro 1 and no luck. It seems a 3/10 amp 250 v fuse is a rarity in America. Any help with this would be gratefully appreciated. I'm about to lose my mind.

googling "250v 300mA fuse" yields many many results, some priced as low as $0.44 each. Be sure to get SLO BLO, 0.25" dia by 1.25" length

here's one: http://www.talonix.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=12589

those are good are ALL model Nords in USA

the Euro fuse holder caps are designed for 5mmx20mm physical dimension fuses

Thanks a lot man I'll look for one a little harder. Unfortunately the link you sent me, that website says they're discontinued. I might just get a friend in Ireland to pick some up for me.

Every website I find them on says they're discontinued, I'm losing faith in Nord, if it's this difficult to find a fuse.

I'm looking for 300ma 250v slow blow 313 series as that's the same as one that's blown...there doesn't seem to be replacement anywhere and all out of stock.
Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it. Kinda curious where everyone else is getting their fuses for the Nord 1 since all the fuses seem to be discontinued

Nah, Nord has nothing to do with that. Instead better to lose faith in those suppliers.

This place:
http://www.alliedelec.com/
seems to stock this:
Littelfuse Fuse; Cylinder; Slow Blow; 0.3A; Sz 3AG; Supplemental; Dims 0.25x1.25"; Glass; 250VAC
Mfr's Part #: 0313.300HXP
Allied Stk #: 70184113

It seems to be the part you need (but please check again).

those are the correct fuse stats, and yes, Nord has no control over the world's fuse suppliers

All Nord models ever sold in the US market use that same fuse.

Try DigiKey

Nearly 900 in stock, get a few of them for spares.

Thanks for the help, I found some on unicornelex.com. Suppose I was bit naive about the fuses in these keyboards and frustration got the best of me. Just assumed it wouldn't have been this difficult for me to find one. In the end though, I know quite a bit about fuses. lol
