I take the bet, what's the stake? Seriously, in my personal opinion, I don't see a Nord with multisamples in the very near futures, is just a bit at odds with Nords hands-on tweak approach IMHO, would be way to many options (velocity settings, applying all sound shaping to all samples, some, one...) to add on a simple UI, plus imply a complete overhaul of the libraries...but would be happy to be proven wrong

If I was really really cynical, what I'd do is introduce a new multilayer sample format which allows everything to be in there, including all the pianos. Rather than have a big piano memory and a big sample memory, you have a massive sample 2 memory. Then all you release are Sample 2 sounds whilst letting some of them out as Npno and Nsmp files.

Want the new sounds? Buy the new board? They'll roll this out on the Wave 2, then the C3D and then the Electro 4S2 and finally, on the Stage 3.
