Re: Nord Lead 3 stuck note
Guys, does anyone know what keybed was used on the NL3? I'll have to replace some keys. I wrote to Clavia's support yet in order to know whether I can order some keys or the full keybed only, and who I should contact.

I know Syntaur sells the right keys: http://www.syntaur.com/nord.html#lead
Edit: whoops, try this link: http://www.syntaur.com/K03U.html
Same keyboard as the Wave it seems.

FATAR TP/9 unweighted w/AT is used in Wave, NL3. G2X uses the same except that keys are weighted.
NL1, NL2 and NL2X use TP/9 no AT. Keys are different length and design.

Hi, I think I might have cleaned the grease, what kind of grease is it and how do I applied it again?mjbrands wrote: Isopropyl (or rubbing) alcohol is a good way to clean the PCB and the key contacts. You can clean the black contact spots in the rubber strip too, but be very gentle with it (I wouldn't do much more than gently clean them with a cotton swab and some alcohol). Be sure you don't remove any of the grease; you may even need to apply some more, but there's a good chance you won't have to (if you do, it is always something you could do at a later time).

Re: Nord Lead 3 stuck note
reviving an old thread for an important question - do you or anyone else know if it is possible to replace an unweighted TP/9 keybed with aftertouch (NL3) with a weighted TP/9 bed? are they the same other than the springs and weights? i can't find this info anywhere and i'd like to upgrade my NL3 to semi-weighted if at all possible.pablomastodon wrote:FATAR TP/9 unweighted w/AT is used in Wave, NL3.
