Newbie looking for a nord. Have £1,500 to spend, please help

Opinions were varied here, ne3 and ns,
I bought the nord electro 3 a few days ago and I am blown away by the organs, they are great, I'm still getting to grips with all the features, key click, chorus, overdrive etc as ive never been able to add half of these on my Roland and korg so the sounds are new to me but I am really getting to grips with it,
Ive Already saved some good drawbar settings ready for my next gig / rehearsal and been jammin along to a Whitesnake live DVD today and it sounded great.
I've also decided to buy the Nord Stage, I pick this up on Wednesday dinner time. A full 88 key version, it's the revision model (not sure what that means). I understand from posts on this forum that the organs may not be up quite as good but having them both to use at my leisure will help me decide which is the best one for my needs,

Wow, a Nord Electro 3 *and* a Nord Stage - nice going!

I've never played a stage, but I absolutely love my NE3 (and the NE2 before that), so am confident that you've made a great choice - enjoy your new boards!

Thanks, loving the NE3 so far, can't wait to get to rehearsals with it, we have a charity gig tomorrow but as I midi up the current boards I use I will have to spend a bit of time setting up the nord first. My current keyboards are on the band van so I'm not able to do anything yet, I hope it's easy to set midi up on it,

Arghh, I have a new dilemmma, I had £1,500 to spend on a nord keyboard but couldn't decide if I should get a nord electro 3 or an early nord stage, so I bought them both to begin with last week to try them out for a few weeks in the hope to find a winner then sell the loser on,
This is the first time i have owned a nord and I fell in love with the ne3 in the first few days i owned it last week, Then I got the nord stage a few days later and fell in love with that even more,
On paper They say the organs are not as good on the NS as the newer NE3 and I've still only been able to listen to them both through headphones but after setting up morphs to increase drawbars using the wheel and then setting up fast rotor using after touch on the nord stage, when going back to the NE3 today it felt somewhat lacking just having a stock sound with much less instant control over it as the morphs offer.
I really needed a good keyboard for organs and the stage gave me much better overall control but the heavyweight keys on it just aren't as good as the NE3
So yet again I'm stuck,
It has crossed my mind to sell both of these nords and buy the NS2 sw73, thats now the perfect keyboard, but I only wanted to spend £1,500 so it would mean a further cash investment,
The other option would be to alter my midi set up and have the NS as the main controller sending organs to the m3 73 that I also use at gigs as this has lighter keys and can control after touch etc.
But the m3 has lots of transposed songs that send midi 2 to the 2nd board so I really need to keep this as the main board because setting up transpose on the nord at the beginning of some songs will only lead to eventual errors when I forget to revert back.
I'm not really sure what my question is here, I'm still at loggerheads trying to sort out the best thing to do myself,

I might read up on connecting the NS and the korg M3 midi in and midi out to both keyboards so they are both connected both ways and see if that's possible, Then I can play Nord organs on the m3 and still play M3 sounds on the Nord,

Absolutely you can do that and it'll give you what you need - with the usual tinkering about to get it all working right.

Yes. How expensive can a second-hand original Nord Stage be ? And do you really need 88 keys for playing in a band ?

An used original Nord Stage does amazing piano (a tiny bit less realistic than the Nord Stage 2, but it wouldn't make a difference in a rock band ?), and great organs.

You can choose a 76 or 88 keys for a piano keyboard feel, and then connect a cheap midi keyboard to control the organ section.

Or you can directly choose a 73-keys version for a keyboard feel better suited for organs.
