LFO direction

Post by austin »

I can't seem to figure out how to change the direction of the LFO's sawwave. It defaults to down making a bow and I'm wanting it to go up making a wub sound. Ha! Easy enough on my virus and loads of things, but I can't seem to figure it out on the Nord. Does it have a direction or negative amount or not so much? Thanks!

Hi Austin,
you are correct about LFO1 "not being able to switch the direction of the saw".
I would try using LFO2/arpeggiator in "LFO mode" with "arp up" as the waveform selected before changing to "LFO mode".
This is found on pages 50 & 51 of the manual

I no longer own a Nord Lead to be able to test my theory, but from what I recall, this should work.

It could be done using the ModEnv in a long Attack and no Decay.
