Hi,

Interesting project. I'm considering buying a Nord C2 and I already have a homemade 30 tone pedal board. But I'm wondering if it will work well. Does all the keys (especially the higher ones) play bass tones? If the keyboard of the Nord C2 is split, only the lower 2 octaves play bass. Are the bass registers limited to the 2 lower octaves?

Greetings,

Peter

On my pedalboard only the highest note (G) will not trigger in pipe organ mode. Not a big deal since it's not typically used. I can couple both the great and the swell stops (only one at a time) which sound on all ~31 notes. -side note, the MIDI cpu that I used can be programmed to sound at any octave so for a while I had 32' stops. I might look into an octave shift function sometime in the future since this could really open up the registration possibilities for the Nord.

The AGO 32 note pedalboard is concave and radiating so it makes it more anatomically nice to play. I'm not sure why the length of the notes is so much longer mine pivot on the back under the bench but the narrowing due to the radiation lets me put the bench under no problem. I built the pedals and studs mainly for the pipe organ samples anyways.
