Hey there.
I am some way from upgrading to a NS2, but one of my key questions is this: Does the NS2 88 have enough free panel space to put a Mopho/Tetra on it without problems? The NS classic certainly did and it has helped keep the rig quite decent. Anything that the NS synth section cant do well enough, a Tetra does. So IMO its a great little module to expand your rigs with.
Looking forward for answers!!
The Mopho is 19.05 cm x 12.7 cm x 3.56 cm (7.5” L x 5” W x 1.4” H). Here is the product page:http://www.davesmithinstruments.com/pro ... _specs.php

Re: NS2, space for Mopho/Tetra?
Hi Gustavo,
On the right side you would have 20 cm from the white vertical line next to the compressor/reverb knobs to the right end of the panel (including wooden side panel). On the left side only 15 cm because of the pitch bend lever. The height is 15 cm from keys to back.
So I guess it would fit snugly and leave you about 2 cm to turn the knobs mentioned above.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Rob

Thanks Rob!
That helps quite a lot!! Knowing that there is enough space for a Tetra is quite essential as it complements the NS2's horizons into real analogue-crunchyness

Re: NS2, space for Mopho/Tetra?
This is one reason I wish that had moved all the controls to the left edge, and consoidated all the "free panel space" on the right. Then you'd have 35 cm, enough for all kinds of things. (Though still a little shy for my "extra synth" of choice at the moment, the Moog Slim Phatty.)
It's even more of an issue on the 76-key model, where free panel space is at more of a premium to begin with.
