Simmons Clone?

Can anyone tell me about the Nord Drums ability to emulate Simmons SDS drum synths?
A Simmons Clone is nowhere else to be found

I don't know about a physical box (along the lines of the Nord Drum) emulating Simmons SDS drums, but you could have a look at Arturia's Vintage Drum Machines: http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/pro ... intro.html

They have a software-only version (VSTi, probably) and a version you use with their drum computer/sequencer. I think you can try out the software for 30 days or something, so you could check out if it's convincing enough. I think this product is based on emulation, not samples.

Dear Hexagon, I'd love to have that too! I'm especially keen on that Bruford hihat-esque sound that can be heard here for example: Not sure if it's a Simmons hat, but he's know as a Simmons-player, so I guess it is. I've tried to emulate it with my 3P, but I somehow don't get there. Any help highly appreciated!
