Sustain pedal connected to NS3 and use on Montage

Hi,

I use a NS3 and a Yamaha Montage. On the Montage a pad is played, but I want just to hit the keys and the Montage keeps playing the chord.

Normaly it is done by a sustain pedal. I have one connected to the Nord but not to the Montage. Is it possible to use the pedal for the Montage? Everything is connected by midi.

Or maybe aomeone knows if there is any option in the Montage
