A1 rate and amount separately

Hey guys,
A few months ago I bought a brand new Nord Lead A1 and it immediately became the most favorite synth in my arsenal (and I own pieces like Prophet 6, Subsequent, or Montage M). I love it mainly because of its beautiful sound and ease of use. However, one thing is driving me crazy. Why on earth is it not possible to set the rate and amount separately in the modulation effects (especially Chorus)?! This makes the modulation effects almost unusable. When I want to set a higher value (amount) for the Chorus effect, the rate immediately increases to an unusable level and vice versa. The only thing (in a possible update) I wish the Clavia engineers would implement some shortcut (Shift + turn the knob) to set the Rate and Amount separately.
