Not sure what to believe. The photo they used for the announcement post has the 61 in front and it conveniently blocks the area where they would be installed on the 73 and HP models. However, the demo video they posted featuring the HP version clearly does not have them, so who knows? I'm curious to see footage from NAMM

There's a video of artists playing a 73-series electric guitar, and there's nothing on the left panel. I'm now sure the memory will also be doubled, since there's nothing on the official specifications page.

On the original NE7 (without pitsch stick) there was Morph LEDs next to some rotary potentiometers. The original specification didn't contain any possible Morph source (no wheel, no aftertouch, no controll pedal).
I think Nord has created one piece of panel (without a cut-out opening for pitch stick and wheel) in order to make the photos and the demo with Joshua Domfeh. That's why there was not too much synth in the demo (most likely there where SW errors caused by unmanageable configuration cause by missing HW elements.)

Product comparison page unfortunately states 1GB for pianos and 512MB for synth samples.

Hi,

it's also been discussed in the general Nord Electro 7 thread: New! Nord Electro 7!

I therefore merged it into the general thread

There was actually something also on the original specs, related to the possibility to control "multiple parameters" from the Expression pedal, so a kind of Morph.

You are right!
"Expression Pedal Assign, enabling pedal control of Synth Filter and effect parameters."
This means that not too much further engineering is needed. :)

Wow! Hats off! That's a truly daring marketing strategy! We won't know exactly what's inside the box until after NAMM and the sales launch. But – well – what's been promised so far looks very promising. It can only get even better.

In my opinion, a pitch and modulation wheel not only puts the NE7 back on par with most of its competitors, but also makes it suddenly interesting again as a "smaller NordStage" for the road for a NordStageUser (including me - unfortunately))...
