Recently I moved to small apartment in the city central so I can't take my NS3 88 (still the best keyboard on the market, change my mind..
) everywhere anymore. I was thinking about NS3 compact but ended with NS3 76 HP instead. And that was the moment real fun started because how to protect it? My requirements were:
- bag stripes
- big pocket so I can fit sustain pedal, Yamah FC7 and iPad
- tight, so it can fit horizontally in my trunk
Yamaha cancelled the Yamaha MODX7 Softcase which was perfect fit so I searched and searched, tried and found out, Gator G-PG-61 is currently the best option for my Nord. I tried G-PG-76 first but it was too big! Yes, you have to push the zipper little bit on one side but on the other hand, it is the most compact version of bag you can have + it has nice thick padding and a raincoat and overall it's not that heavy.
