Creating NORD Organ 3 Presets

Post by mstroner1 »

Hello - I've had my ORGAN 3 about a week now. Having pretty good luck navigating everything. BUT, I'm having trouble saving any 'Pre-Sets' that i want to create using the 3 Upper or Lower manual 'Pre-Set' buttons on the left side of the instrument. I'm working in 'Live Mode' as I have everything set up for when i usually begin a gig. For example, I'd like to have a 'Pre-Set' with all drawbars out and no Percussion using the 'Left' drawbars on upper manual. I've tried turning Memory protection 'off' and pulling out all the drawbars and holding the 'Pre-Set' button down, which what - I think - the owners manual says to do. It just then goes to a different 'Pre-Set' that ( I assume) came from the factory.
Could anyone please help & tell me what I'm doing wrong ? BTW, I think the Organ 3 is a great instrument !
Thanks, Mike Stone, Houston

Hi, that's what manual says

EDITING A PRESET
To edit a Preset, keep its button pressed down, as indicated by the
arrow ( ), and adjust the drawbars. The Preset is stored automatically,
with no need for a manual Store operation.

So it sounds like you need to keep it pressed while you adjust the drawbars (i.e first press it, then adjust the drawbars while keeping it down and release it only when you are done)
