Check this https://chris55.github.io/ns3-program-viewer/ awesome tool to visualize NS2/3 programs and re-create them on the other instrument!

Talk about a company that has been riding their legacy for too many years.

To be honest, I don't really keep up with Hammond. I find their UI atrocious, and don't necessarily think they have a sound advantage over their competitors. They do, however, have that price premium that goes with the name brand. :wtf:

Am I correct that they still use their VASE III engine? It's got to be rather old by now.

Regardless of what it is, I won't be buying one.

As the new E7 has the organ from the 3 hopefully they may be able to also update the stage 4 to have it too.

This is my hope as well. They are absolutely able to, it's whether they choose to do this or not.

The Nord Stage 4 never includes the new organ engine. A Nord employee confirmed this at a trade show. The organ 3 engine will be for the Nord Stage 5.

I would think the Organ 3 engine is a firmware thing that cannot be addressed through a software update. Not the first time this has happened where the Stage came before the new Organ, which I believe was the case with the Stage 2/2EX and the C2D organ.

That said, the Stage 4 organ engine is still pretty good.

Firmware="software running on a hardware device microcontroller and/or DSPs" finally, so in theory it could, but it never happened in the past that a Stage would get a complete Organ section update so it is unlikely NS4 would be the first exception.
