Morph assign: mod 1 - from setting stuck at strange values

I need some help understanding the interface when assigning my Yamaha fc7 to the wah effect.

I made sure the pedal is setup as a control pedal in the menu and it is reading correctly from 0 to 100% and is only assigned as a control pedal.

When I go to morph assign and select wah, the from value is stuck at 5. I am not sure how to change this. I was messing around turning the effect on and using the variation button and that got it change.

But I’d really appreciate some help just understanding the order of operations/button mapping if I want to assign the wah effect that the two “from”amounts are back to 0. Was purchased new a few weeks ago.

The From is the value at which the Wha (or in general the parameter) was set before applying the Morph, if you want to start from 0 you have to:

1) cancel the Morph (if already existing)
2) set the parameter to 0
3) apply the Morph

Note: if you move the parameter after applying the Morph, the current value becomes the new "From".

Bro you are so right - that was the rudeness. I was stressing over not understanding the dank new board.

I realized the issue was I was messing with a preset and morphing over those parameters was the issue.

I did a fresh layer init and when I went to morph assign the wah pedal the “from” setting was at 0.
