After a couple of months, my relatively new Nord half moon switch is playing up. It looks like one of the soldering joints to the jack cable has come loose, and consequently the switch can't tell the difference between "stop" and "slow" unless I position the lead next to the jack in the right place. As the switch comes in a sealed jack, getting inside to resolder it is going to be awkward.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Nord half moon switch reliability
Hi Ritchie,
I’m using a Nord Halfmoon Switch at least once a week with my NS3 Compact since around 5-6 years now and have never experienced any issue with it

so this would still be under warranty. Have it replaced.Ritchie333 wrote: ↑25 Nov 2025, 18:22 After a couple of months, my relatively new Nord half moon switch is playing up. Re: Nord half moon switch reliability
I left my HMS on the Nord Stage for a few years (even in the soft bag) and finally needed to resolder/replace the cable. Which was the labour of an evening as I'm not very used to soldering. But no problem to open the HMS.
