Side inserts made of wood?
I just received my NE6D .
My wife doubts that the sides are made of wood. She claims it's plastic. Are there any photographs or evidence? I want to win this argument!

They are wooden, if you unscrew one you can see from the internal part also (or you can find a NE6 repair video on YT or... you will see at the first scratch or bump you will sooner or later make 
)

I have an NE6D, as I already mentioned. I gently tap it with various objects and it really feels like plastic! It sounds like plastic, it bounces like plastic, it feels like plastic, it smells like plastic. And most likely, it is plastic! While it's under warranty, I can't open it. But does Nord make the side panels out of plastic? I was sure they were made of wood! I don't believe it!))))
