Electro 6 tweak filter sensitivity

I have a sample for the sample synth on the Electro 6 that sounds real nice with the touch sensitive filter on when I play at home. In live situations I tend to play "a bit" harder than I do at home and then it doesn't sound quite as nice anymore. Is there a way to trick the filter into thinking I'm playing softly when I'm not?

I understand that becoming a better player would solve this problem but I don't think there's much hope of that anymore.
