I have a Nord stage 3, I recently an error message saying: samples not found on the synth section.
Piano samples works fine but when I tried to add a sample based sound, I would get the following error message:
Creqcreatefile failed: FFSFail (22)
I have the recent OS 2.64
Tried to reinstall it and got: SampLib Failure !
Tried a different cable, tried a PC, tried a mac, tried to restore to Factory Defaults FW, (2.5X).
Still can't load any samples fot my synth engine.
Any idea ?

Re: FFSFail (22)
Could be a HW failure (of synth samples Flash memory), I suggest to take it to official service.

Re: FFSFail (22)
Before taking it to service, maybe try to downgrade to the previous OS version.
Probably a long shot, but worth trying .

Re: FFSFail (22)
The Nord OS is trying to do a file create in (non piano) sample memory, and it's failing. Could be the memory board -- or the cable connecting to it.
Loose connector problems have been a continuing issue for NS3s on this forum, especially earlier ones, so -- if you're comfortable in doing so -- I'd be tempted to open it up and make sure all those ribbon connectors are nice and snug.

I think I have gear issues ....
