splitting the keyboard is simple and well outlines in the user manual of the Nord Electro 6. However, if you want to use 2 different sounds from one of the Electro 6 engines like the synth engine (sound A on the left, sound b on the right) you would need 2 of the respective engines in parallel, which a Nord Elector does not provide. This is available from the Nord Stage series.
From what I know the Electro does not allow using two different sounds from one of the engines at a time, but I may be wrong concerning the current Electro 6 which I am not using, so maybe others who own the Electro 6 can help clarifying this.
DId you read the user manual of the Electro? If not I strongly encourage you to do so, Nord's manual are very good and you will get a deep understanding of the capabilities and handling
