hi all,
thanks for the input. Finished setting up my Electro today. Still learning it. I have a Stage 4 with numerous custom programs, I want to transfer these sounds to the Electro, preferably in bulk, using the Sound manager. I know it's not really set up for two Nords, but is this possible through back alleys?

NS4 programs won't play on anything other than a NS4.
I think I have gear issues ....

If your idea really was to use the Electro as a (rehearsal) backup for your Stage, you'll need to reprogram your sounds to a certain extent:
- install the same piano samples (but in smaller size as the Electro has half the piano sample memory);
- install a selection of the same synth samples (again half the memory size); leave some space for synth sounds from the Stage that you need to rebuild via custom samples (NSE will help to create them);
- note the organ settings for your main organ sounds and program the same settings to your NE6;
- make sure you didn't use morphing or dual layers on the Stage - the Electro doesn't have that;
All in all, there are quite some restrictions, but you should be able to at least create the 'classical' sounds.

Re: Transferring sounds between Stage 4 and Electro
Thank you. I really only use two, possibly three instruments, The Stockholm 9, the Hammond and a bit of piano. I never use the synth. The stockhold gets a bit tremolo. It's all do-able but sadly a manual process. Should be OK.
