Is the Nord Sound Manager a car crash with two Nords?

Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

Is the Nord Sound Manager a car crash with two Nords?

Post by ZeroZero »

I am about to get my second Nord - an Electro 6d to go with my Stage 4 88. I run the Nord Sound Manager on a PC in my studio.

I have been told the Sound Manager does not support 2 keyboards. However i was wondering what actually happens?

If I plug in both keyboards and run the SOund manager, what is the reaction of the app?

Is there a workaround kind of thing going on - such as using export and import?

Do any of you guys run two Nords is such a fashion?

thank you

NSM will detect only the first (or last) Nord connected, that's it; as you already have been told in another thread, the way to use it with 2 Nord keyboards is to plug just one of them at a time, period (until NSM will change, that's how it currently is)
