Connecting Stage/Tablet and more via USB-Hub

Post by Schulti »

Hello,

i am sure there is a simple solution to this. but i could not find it.

I discovered that I can connect my Android tablet via a USB hub with Stage 4 and send MIDI program changes — that’s cool.
I also found I can connect another MIDI device to the same hub and route MIDI to either the tablet or the Nord — also great.
Now I’m looking for an active (powered) USB hub that does all of the above, charges the tablet, and supplies power to other connected gear. I’ve tried a lot of hubs but haven’t found one yet.

I am looking for a small one, not a massive box or something like this.

Do you guys have any idea, on what to buy without breaking the abk... maybe :D

Hi,

I’ve been using this one:

TP-Link UH720 USB Hub, 7-Port...

Some of the smaller, cheaper ones made hum and noise through the DAC I connected to get the iPad audio into my mixer. You may have better luck!
