stage 4 88, single key limited by max velocity

I have a 1 year old stage 4 88 with a C5 key that won't output over 102/127 (0-127) for the ON velocity, according to MidiView, no matter how hard I play it. I have cleaned the contact pads on the PCB and the three posts under the rubber pad multiple times to no avail - it seemed clean already. I don't know if it's always been this way or if it started recently, as I only discovered it when playing Hanon a bit higher than normal. Is it possible the issue is with the key mechanics itself? it didn't look like the two plastic tabs that contact the rubber part of the sensor bottomed out at a level any different than other white keys, so I am not really sure it is that. Also, when playing with quieter dynamics, the key responds exactly as I expect. It just won't go over 102, and you have to really hit it hard to get it that high. I'd say playing with a velocity that you would expect would get you over 90, say, doesn't give you what you want.
