Piano and Organ

White Grand and Hammond together. How do you EQ the piano if you EQ it and how do you EQ the Hammond! Settings, thanks also for the volumes for both. Thanks

In terms of adjusting volumes when playing piano and organ together, It is impossible to fully balance piano and organ sounds, because the piano will get louder or quieter depending on how hard you hit the keys, and the organ won't. And the organ sounds themselves can be different volumes depending on the drawbar settings, too, so the balance can further vary with the particular patch (and can change as you play, if you're the type of player who adjusts drawbars as you play). So you may find a good balance for a particular song, but there is no "universal" setting that will work for all songs/settings. That also means, if you like to play with piano and organ together, using a swell pedal can be very helpful. :-)

first off what kind of speakers / amplification are you using that requires EQ?

my Nord rig and K8.2 monitors run flat and the compliments come from every FOH guy I have worked with for decades.
