I have my Stage 4 on A12. I can see in the display pane A:12 Logical Song (my name). Under this I can see only "Bright Vibe Mk 1". This is corectly sounding all other panels and slots are off.
This information has been saved to my Sound Manager version 9.16. (Win 11) I have the cursor selecting A:12 (the same). The info panel is showing that I have loaded 2 pianos and some strings which is false. The "Bright Vibe Mk 2" is not one of them.
I see that other programs are being misreported too.
Any clues good people?

Actually those samples are there even if the related sections/layers are off, switch them on and you'll see them.

Re: Nord Sound manager innacurate?
For samples I've found that Nord Sound Manager will display a different sample name than what my NS4 shows. I'll edit my response after checking again, however one displays the name of the sample as it was named when originally created, and the other displays the name of the file as loaded. For example, I created a sample in Nord Sample Editor and named it "File1.nsmp4"; I later changed the name to "Brass.nsmp4" before loading it with NSM. "File1" is displayed in NS4 and "Brass" shows in NSM.
Nord Stage 4 | Nord Stage 3 | SC Prophet T8 | Korg X50... In the past: Nord Stage EX, 2, 2EX | SC Prophet 5, 10 | MiniMoog | Hammond B3 & 122 Leslie | Yamaha DX7IIFD, EX5, CP60 | Hohner D6 | Fender Rhodes | Roland S-50, D-50, XP-50...

Probably the name shown on NS4 is stored inside the .nsmp file. Did you change just the file name or "recompiled" it in NSE?WannitBBBad wrote: ↑11 Aug 2025, 05:23 For samples I've found that Nord Sound Manager will display a different sample name than what my NS4 shows. Re: Nord Sound manager innacurate?
That's my assumption as well. The file name was changed but it was not saved with that name in NSE. It's nice that the file retains some "intellectual property" tied to the sample name assigned by the original sample creator, I wouldn't want to change that, however like previous keyboards, I think NS4 should display whatever name the user has assigned it. That said, it would be nice if NSM displayed the file name and the original name as created to make it easier to identify "pirated" samples.
