Keybed ns4 and np6

Hello. Can anyone confirm that the NS4 has a Fatar TP40M keybed and the NP6 has a Fatar TP40H keybed? Or they share exactly the same keybeds? I can't find this literally written anywhere.

It's not written, but if I remember correctly, it's the kind of technical information that is given during interviews at NAMM.

It seems exact that the NS4 has the TP40M (M for Medium weighted) and the NP6 the TP40H (H for Heavy weighted).

That would make sens as the NS4 is more polyvalent (Organ, Piano, Synth) as where the NP6 is dedicated to pianos (and some samples in addition).

Happy owner of a NS4 73 HA (Hammer Action), with the TP40M, I'm delighted of this keyboard (I had previously the NS3 HP, with the TP100, which was clearly not in the same league).

Thanks for the confirmation. I can share my experience. I had a Nord piano 3 and then a Nord piano 4, which I sold a while ago. I ordered a Nord stage 4, so that I could use all the options (organ and synth). I had it at home for 10 days and played it for several hours a day. I came to my own conclusion about the NS4 keybed. It is just fine for organ and synth. When playing pianos, it is a different story. The keyboard is a bit lighter, which did not bother me so much. The problem is that it is much more difficult to control the dynamics of the piano sound with this keybed. A friend lent me his NP4 for a few days so that I could compare it well. It would be good if they could implement the option of shaping the dynamics curve on Nord keyboards. For me, it is a significant difference in the experience of playing acoustic piano samples. This is certainly a marketing decision, because otherwise the Nord piano line would not make much sense. I sent the NS4 back and ordered the NP6. The NS4 keybed is good but it's a compromise that I really couldn't accept. This is my experience that I wanted to share.
