3rd. D key problems

Post by eliwwjd »

i see here on the forum thst a few of you have had problems with the keybed.
I have a ns4 73 hammered keys for about 8 months now and i started noticing that the 3rd D key sometimes goes blank and sometimes when playing the key you have to kind of play it hard in order for the note to stand out. When playing other keys i noticed this specific 3rd key doesn’t sound as loud as the other ones in the keybed, you have to hit it a couple of times. I bought it on sweetwater with there 2 year warranty. The only problem is that i live in PR and i have to send it back to sweetwater. i use it to play at church. Has this specific issue happened to anybody here?

Hi,

in my experience i have also a lot of issues with the NS4 HA Keybed.
The Problem is the triple sensor in my opinion. I play the action usually quite hard, and i assume thats not good for the silicone rubber.
I´ve exchanged them several times now.

Yesterday i played the middle G too hard and the key plug out of it´s connection. Luckily i could clip in back in the position.
The Action is quite nice if it works, but the failures what i get with it is very annoing.
From a 4500 EUR Keyboard i expect a TANK that never fails.

I think about to buy the Compact and put a good 88 Version underneath.
I´ve also made a Video, how to exchnage the silicon rubber for the NS4 88 HA.

Good Luck!
