Live Programs on Electro 5HP
Hi everyone. After owning a Stage EX, I recently bought an Electro 5 HP. What a great instrument! I have a question about the Live Programs. I find this option very usefull, but I'm not sure if I'm using this correctly. I am under the assumption that every Program can store 4 diffent Live-Settings. However if I choose another program and use the live-buttons, it seems to overwrite the live settings of another program. Which makes me doubt if every program can indeed store the 4 different live settings. Am I doing something wrong? Cheers.

Re: Live Programs on Electro 5HP
Hi Koos,
NE5 owner here. The difference between a normal „Program“ and a Live Program is only that a Life one automatically stores all changes that you make to its settings. You don‘t need to seperately push a „Store to .. „ button. At the beginning of my nord electro career I was as confused as you seem to be. I can only imagine that nord‘s intention for this was to offer a riskless method to try and try different tweaks. I must say, I only use them as kind of „favourites“ for my most versatile organ and acoustic piano sounds.
My NE5D 61 has three Live Programs - does your HP really have one more?
Anyway, as a favourite button I like them, particularly when I have to switch between organ and piano multiple times in a song.
Cheers from winterly Germany

You're absolutely right. There are 4 button, but only 3 live buttons. Thanks for the reply!

Hi
You can store A, B, C and D if you're in Setlist mode. Here's a link to a video on how to do it.
