Finally tested the new v9 :keyboard2:

pros:
- nice improvement to have the online download

cons:
- audio preview still missing (even in mp3...) We still need to browse to the web site to listen a short demo!

... just found out, we´ on Rev 9.02 since 2 weeks... Anybody had already / still troubles? Looks, like mine running well...
... onstage since '78 on the endless (?) hunt for the perfect stage keyboard...

I tried v9.02 today - I like the approach of being able to see the sound library in a window next to NS4 samples loaded. NSM 9.02 allows the user to drag a ZIP folder of Nord NSMP files to the Stage 4 sample space; NSM unzips the folder files and converts them to NSMP4 format. Unfortunately v9.02 still won't convert user-created NSMP files created with Nord Sample Editor 4 (possibly v3 as well but no way to check).

For backups, I believe NSM v9.02 takes a different approach with the cache, so likely I have two of everything on my laptop right now just from my NS4 - my full NS4 backup using NSM v7.x and my backup today with v9.02 that again took about an hour. Once I'm convinced I can let go of the older NSM version, I'll get rid of its cache.

I got word last week that Nord is working on the issue of NSM not converting user-created NSMP files (NSMP2 format) to NSMP4 format for the Piano 5 and NS4. Hopefully we'll see something soon.
