A Song set in NS3 is just a collection of references to existing Programs which (may) also use Samples, so usually the best way to manage a set of Songs is to make a full backup of NS3 with Nord Sound Manager, to be sure that when you Restore it you get all (Programs, Samples and... Songs) back in place.

There is a song bundle file type (*.ns3sbundle), different from the program bundles (*.ns3fb). All those are zip files anyway. They can be loaded in the Nord File Viewer to be displayed !

I believe there is a way to save songs = songs+programs+samples in the NSM, but not in front of my Nord at the moment.
I opened a thread with unsuccessful results back at the time, but this needs to be tested with the latest version of NSM : viewtopic.php?t=21673

Uploading your songs as bundles is the way to do it. This way, it will pick up the song, the associated programs, and all piano/.nsmp/synth settings as part of the song bundle.

I have been doing it for years. I have encountered some inconsistent errors with larger bundles...see this thread for more on that.

I suggest doing bundles in smaller batches, maybe 10 songs at a time.

Get a tablet and organize your song lists on the tablet with the multitude of song management Apps (OnSong, Four Score, Set List Maker, etc).

Organize your programs on the Nord and leave them in that order. Separating the setlists/songs from the keyboard means you can organize your setlist any way you want, at any time (even when you don't have your keyboard with you), and the correct program will be available without trying to shuffle programs/samples on the Nord.

Appreciate you share which version of NSM you used to save individual and bundles songs !
Glad this worked and interested as I'll need to save songs for archiving.

I've dong Song bundles ever since I got my first NS3 in 2018. Each version of the NSM has worked just fine for this. You can select a bunch of Songs together into one bundle, or do them individually. I found that bundles of 5 Songs works best for me (see my earlier thread mentioned earlier in this post).
