Hi, I haven't found any useful information about this topic on the web.
I'm currently playing in a new band and the songs we play require quite a lot of very fast program changes.
I 'd like to control my two keyboards (nordstage 3 and yamaha mod/fx) with my laptop to make these changes easier.
For example hitting the A key would send a midi message to both keyboards to switch to another program, hitting the B key would send another one and so on.
Have you heard about anything of the kind or am I just dreaming ?
you can easily do that connecting the 2 (or more) keyboards via (USB) MIDI to a PC running apps that can manage SetLists and associated MIDI messages, like GigPerformer or CamelotPro (or Mainstage if you have a Mac) etc.. search for those on the web for more info on each.
PS: but with the MoDX capabilities in terms of MIDI and Scenes management + its Touch Screen, you shouldn't really need that actually, if you use MoDX as a master to send PCs also to the Nord.
I use the software Camelot pro from the Italian company audiomodeling (https://audiomodeling.com/camelot/overview/) which has a lot functionality to handle many devices very quickly in performances. Maybe it is an overkill for what You want.

why not send ProgramChange from your Nord Stage 3 to your MOXF?
Connect a pedal to the program up/down socket on your Stage 3 and sort the programs on your Nord, then just one press on the pedal and next song is up.
(if it is a cover band with many different sets maybe consider Set List Maker and add a bluetooth pedal or something similar..)
