Volume range FC7 on NE6

Post by Thomas Debra »

hello, I use the Yamaha FC7 as a volume pedal for my NE6. Can I adjust the range of the pedal? At the moment I can only use it with a range of 0-100%. Is it possible to set the range to 30-100% for example? so that there is still a little bit of volume when the pedal is completely closed. thanks in advance

So you are using an FC7 as control pedal. Menu settings only alow additional values for Gain. I'm not sure if it does what you want.

But if you use [CtrlPed] together with the B3 organ section, the pedal will always react like a swell pedal and not go down to 0%.

On NE6 using the pedal as Volume is always 0-100%, the only possibility is to set the minimum on the pedal if it has a pot for that, like some models do (e.g. Roland EV5 or M-Audio EX-P, but not the FC7)
