I have a Nord Piano 5 and I'm trying to match the sound of the piano at the beginning of this song in the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTKL0NH ... 1c&index=2
I went through all the Grand and Upright piano samples on Nord's website but I don't think any of them really sound the same. Any help here would be appreciated!

Nice piano sound on the intro, you hear a distinct metallic note that's unusual, making me think it's a recording studio special.
If it were me, I'd start with the White Grand, use a bunch of EQ to bring out the higher frequencies, and use a relatively spacious reverb. It won't be an exact match -- it never is -- but it should suit the piece well.
If you're looking for higher quality piano samples, I'd recommend trying software pianos.

I think I have gear issues ....

To get special aspects in a piano sound (initial punch, metallic/wooden sound etc.), I sometimes use the sample engine with some non-piano like or even digital sounds to just add some special 'spice' (attack or sustain): glockenspiel, DX7 piano, celesta, marimba etc.

Thanks for the comments. I am trying to replicate this on stage so I don't have a way to use a software piano but I could try that in the studio.

See if this gets you closer - try layering the Pearl Upright and Bright Grand
Same settings for both panels
Bass EQ: +8
Stage Reverb: +2.5
Layer Detune: 0 (you can try +1 but I think it's too much)
Adjust to taste.
