Re: Nord website: New Look !!!
Either they arranged that sorting for the different sample libraries and just kept it for pianos, too (unfortunate) - or they are preparing for a rupture in future compatibility. My favorite is the first version, but I'm not sure.

Re: Nord website: New Look !!!
That's strange because I also selected the Nord Stage (classic) to test it before jumping to the main NPL link and I didn't clean my cache meantime... have you tried with an InPrivate browser session?FZiegler wrote: 03 Jun 2024, 17:44 Your trick doesn't seem to work for me - I've always some instrument selected, can't get the page with neutral selection. This may be due to cookies or the like. Anyway...
EDIT: that's the thing! Select Nord Stage Classic and you get all 5.0 Harpsichords!
+1Mr_-G- wrote: 03 Jun 2024, 18:56 There is definitely an error in those pages. Why to bother to make it instrument-dependent when the old harpsichord files should be possible to load in all their keyboards instruments. Or am I wrong?

Well, they can't keep all the old stuff around forever. I know there are users here that are still running boards 15 years old, but Clavia is a business and they don't make money unless their customer base updates their equipment. This is one reason the new Piano samples keep growing - you are kind of forced to upgrade just to have enough memory to run them.

Yeah if you like a sample, get it in your cloud. I’ve got the L and XL of all the pianos. I don’t use the sample library much so not that concerned about those.

Re: Nord website: New Look !!!
Looks like I'll be downloading every sound on their website. This is crazy that there are sounds that used to be available (seems like some cool synth samples I didn't know about) that I can no longer access. Gambold, I'm not sure I agree that "they can't keep all the old stuff around forever". They actually can, and they should. If they are not going to pay the extra few dollars for the storage space, they need to tell customers BEFORE they remove anything from their software/sample libraries.

Re: Nord website: New Look !!!
Nord gave us a "more modern" website and took away a huge number of libraries. And all without prior information.
This is sad.
