Hi all
Does anyone know if there’s a secret setting to remember the last channel, so when turned off, that channel will be active turning back on?

Hi berno, welcome to the forum!
If you checked the manual and the menus on the unit itself, then there is no such setting.
Check the MIDI section of the manual (pages 14, 15), perhaps you can achieve what you want via MIDI, with a combination of bank select, program change, or channel select.
