Hi, I'm new to the Nord Electro, having had Kurzweil keyboards. I am really excited about adding the Nord to my keyboard rig! I currently have Kurzweil PC4 as my main 88 key weighted action board, and switched my upper keyboard from the SP4-7 to the Nord to get more realistic organ sounds and feel. I am used to using a volume control pedal that works on all programs (controls master keyboard volume) but on the Nord Electro, it only seems to work on organ programs. Is there a setting I'm missing? Am I doing something incorrectly? I'm using the volume pedal in the control port, the sustain pedal works fine. I've checked the user manual and it really doesn't address the problem in any way I can find. Could I be using the wrong pedal? It is a Kurzweil pedal from my previous keyboard, but it works as an expression pedal when I'm on an organ setting so I'm guessing it's something in the master program?
Thanks, sorry if this question has been asked, I couldn't find it.

Re: Volume control pedal for keyboard
Hi and welcome!
You have to switch on the CTRL-Pedal in every sound engine you want to control by pressing "shift" and "octave up" until "CTRLPED" is lit (at least for the NE6).

And what should I do next in order to assign the effect for the pedal?
