Re: NS4 Wish List for Future Stage 4 OS Updates
It Would be really amazing if the Synth section filter envelope velocity would be more sensitive according the keyboard playing. I mean it would be better to hit the keys less hard to make LP filter open more in highs, while the cutoff is on 0 position, ENV AMT is on 5 and the pluck type sound is used with filter ENV, and the AMP ENV with velocity ON. Now it's annoying because you have to hit the keys very hard to make the effect with the fat pluck sound filter settings. The Nord stage 2 had it so damn PERFECT!!!

Re: NS4 Wish List for Future Stage 4 OS Updates
Hi!
I have many third party .nsmp samples that have "Misc" banks, but in my NS4 I only have 100 memory locations for each category..how can I change the name of the bank? are there other solutions?
Many thanks
O.

Unfortunately a sample category can't be changed - a new sample needs to be created. It mght be worthwhile contacting Nord (all NS4 owners should) to request that they modify Nord Sound Manager to allow the user to change the category of a sample once loaded in the NS4. Owners can list what they have requested on the Google sheet. Good luck to you.orlon wrote:Hi!

Change the MOD ENV velocity algorithm to be more sensitive when hitting the keys softly. Or make some different settings for this to have an option.

I'd like "layer II" option to be totally independent from layer I.
Now, if I am not wrong, we can just choose whether to turn on or off a particular layer.
I'd like to be able to select any type of sound in scene I and any other type of sound on layer/scene II, regardless what I chose on the first scene.

Yes, that would basically be a completely other program in Scene II (so, why not?).wildecat79 wrote:I'd like "layer II" option to be totally independent from layer I.

At least it should be possible to change/activate/deactivate splits between Scene I and II. I would have needed this often, and this can't be hard to program/implement.

Layer II questions above. Isn't all that possible with 2 program buttons, side by side? Like H:11 & H:12

Sure it's possibile. But layer II function is currently too poor. You can simply turn on or off a layer, it's impossibile to change morph behaviours or even program different split sections.EnjoyRC wrote:Layer II questions above. Re: NS4 Wish List for Future Stage 4 OS Updates
Here's another option for future update: I'd like "section edit" function not to be temporarly (just to edit the sound) but to be permanent. i.e., if I want to rise up the glide time on the go, during performance, for example, on a more than 1 layer sound.
