Re: Fat Analog Strings
Great sound! What was the source? It sounds a bit Roland like to me. Thanks so much for sharing.

Re: Fat Analog Strings
Thanks, I really don't know what instrument it was. I recorded the .wav file years ago when I borrowed a lot of gear from friends. Today I came upon the file on my NAS and converted it into an actual playable sample.

Re: Fat Analog Strings
Sounds really nice! Would love to have the original wave files if you don't mind sharing so I can convert it for my Prophet X...

Re: Fat Analog Strings
Hi,
Maybe stupid, but I dowload the .nsmp3 (thxs) and put it in my Nord stage 3. Why doesn't it sounds like the mp3-file?

Re: Fat Analog Strings
To make it sound the same, you will have to use the same program-settings on your synth(same filter-, eq-, and fx-settings).Gyauhm wrote:Hi,

Also unless you're using headphones, the amp and speakers adds differences to what your instrument sounds like.

Re: Fat Analog Strings
You'll just need to import the sample and then tweak settings to get it to sound like you want, like any sample you bring into your NS3. You can adjust the Attack/Decay/Release, the filter settings, FX etc. Perhaps the original poster can share what they did for the MP3 they posted.
