No sound Out Stage 3

Post by FatPapa »

Today I setup my Stage 3 HA at home, after using it for a rehearsal at anther location. It was operating as it should. For some unknown reason now there is no audio from the 1,2,3 and 4 outs. The headphone jack has audio. I've tried switching audio cables. I tried plugging into a regular guitar amp and nothing. I've unplugged all foot pedals, USB cable, and my Bluetooth dongle and still no sound.I checked the System audio settings and it is set correctly. I'm thinking there might be a keyboard hardware problem, I just don't know. Has anyone else experienced this? I've sent an email to Nord explaining my problem..
Thanks,
Jon

I'm wondering if somehow the firmware corrupted. I have the the latest 2.62 installed. Is it possible to reinstall the firmware?

Yes you can reinstall the OS anytime, even the same version, just download the installer from Nord website (if you don't have it). Not sure it will solve the problem, but it won't hurt either to try.

Situation like that have to look for simple answer before going into reloading and such. Amazing how people look for the obscure first and the simple last. Like opps master volume was down. I was a roadie at one point in my life and later SysAdmin for data center with thousands of servers and learned look for the simple first, it saves time in the long run.

Headphone out has signal. Which means it's not the main volume nor a swell or control pedal. Routing should be fine then as well. So I understand that FatPapa is trying a next step.

It turns out it was not the keyboard. whew!! Somehow my Arturia Audiofuse interface got messed up, so after lots of troubleshooting the issue was fixed. I was also using a bad cable to test when I plugged into a guitar amp.. I'm happy and can make music now.. cheers
