after the first try whith the whole band, I finally come to the same opinion than lennaerttol, the EPiano 2 MkI Suitcase Close Ideal is the best in the mix, soft but strong ehough to be heard on the chorus !

and why not simply use the Sparkletop Vintage? That's the Rhodes Manzarek used and that is part of the Nord library. With a little EQ it sounds great and is very dynamic. While i'm waiting so much for a new Rhodes from Clavia (when, Clavia????????????????!!!!???????) i'm using the Sparkletop mostly. Or Scarbee...

Yes, the Sparkletop is my favourite too. However, like everyone else, I would love to see some 'Large'-sized Rhodes sounds with more notes (i.e. less stretching) and more layers (i.e. greater tonal character between velocities) sampled.
Cheers,
James

I tried it yesterday, and to my ears the Sparkletop is not good for Riders ... quite cool for the chorus, but on the groovy chords it doesn't sound good to my ears.

Most likely through a Fender Twin Reverb, so I'd suggest using the "Twin" amp model and some reverb if available.
It doesn't look like Nord offers a non-suitcase MkI except for one "Low End" version that models a 78' Rhodes. I'd use the EP2 MkI Suitcase, Close Ideal as suggested earlier.
