UK Only
Hi, My house got broken into the on Wednesday Night/Thursday Morning and apart from the TV, the car, and other household type stuff they stole my Nord Electro 3, Mackie Thump Speaker and all my cables, expression pedal, sustain pedal etc. Just on the off chance that someone gets offered kit cheap or hears of some getting offered the kit could you please let me know. Also if you happen to see a Black Renault Clio 1.5d parked on the side of the road for days it could be mine.
I know it's a slim chance but......... Thanks anyway. Baz

Re: UK Only
Hi Hanon, I went over this with the insurance company months ago and they promised that it was all covered under the contents insurance as I'm just a semi-pro musician. Now they're telling me I can have a maximum of £1000 whilst the replacement shopping list comes to £2200. Typical insurance b*****ds I guess!

Re: UK Only
Hey, sorry for that misadventure.
Lately, in France, a guy had his car briken with his Nord Stage 2 in it. He obviously went to the police and guess what: that crossed with another case and he ended getting back his Nord a few days later!!
So keep hoping as hard I wish you to get everything back, mate

Re: UK Only
I'd look closer to home.
It's not the sort of thing an average burglar would nick IMO.
Anyway, I feel sick for you. Hope it turns up.

Re: UK Only
Hi Bazzer, what a pain in the arse.
As others have suggested, an Electro3 is a fairly rare piece of kit, so I'd also call around some of the local second-hand shops, cash converters, and FreeAds etc. (do FreeAds still exist?).
Fingers crossed the stolen items are returned to you, or that the insurance company offers a half-decent settlement.
Cheers,
James

My mind says Kawai, but my heart says Nord.

Re: UK Only
Thanks for the advice chaps. I've done cash converters and ebay. The police were telling me that you can also sell via facebook which I didn't know. Apparently they check both facebook and ebay regularly.

Re: UK Only
Good news! The insurance company have paid up and my new Electro 3 73 should arrive tomorrow or Friday. It's so much more traumatic working with/against Insurance companies than it is being burgled but finally they are replacing everything, Nord, Mackie Speaker, Pedals, cables, bags etc. Wish I was young enough to turn cartwheels!
