Nord Stage 4 Synth Engine Polyphony
I'm not a Nord Stage 4 owner yet but on the Nord Stage 4 Synth Engine, if I use all three layers, does that mean that each note equals three voices of polyphony?

Yes! You have 46 voices in total. They split up into the three layers. Usually 46/3 which is roughly 16.
I don't know how it behaves with monophonic slots, if they actually only use one voice or their third..
Anyways - you're right!

There are instruments that count a note twice if the sound is in stereo - but that's not the case with Nords.
