True, there is no more an "External" section as such.
But I see the 3 synth sliders are labeled "Aux KB", and the synth mode can be set to "sample", "analog" or "extern". So it look like we have up to THREE extern sections controlled by the synth panel.
Also, the effect section looks to be the best ever on a Nord. They not only used the effect of the Wave 2, they expanded on it.

There is no Extern section...
But!
If I'm right, you can see that above every A & B (&C) section ON / OFF button, there is an "AUX KB" LED --> I assume that it stands for Auxiliary and if that's true and if that's what I mean it is --> this will be even better than S3. You will be able to assign any section to extarnal keyboard more easily and probably with more features.
I like new design, even though I'm happy to see S4 on the picture, I'm kind of sad that they ruined Nord's surprise for us.
Can't wait to see what Clavia has to say about it

also note: the "Compact" in the leaked picture has a hammer action!!!
Maybe they discarded the 76-key size (3 keys make almost no difference for playing or splits), but will now offer the 73 in either semi-weighted or weighted versions?
The 73 and 88 are simply labeled "Hammer Action", no more HP version? Aaaahhh, it will be a long wait until tomorrow!

On a second look, ALL the level sliders have an "Aux KB" secondary functions, even the ones for piano and organ. So I guess that will be something similar to the "Dual Keyboard" mode?
for the FX, what I don't understand is how they moved from Panel A/B concept to Organ / Piano A / Piano B / Synth A/ Synth B / Synth C layers and how can we assign a different FX to each layer?
On NS3 we have 2 layers (panel A&B) but here do we have 6 layers?

Actually the French description says "partially weighted".
What I find interesting is that all 3 models seem to have a 3-contact keybed. I wonder if they have implemented the multicontact feature that Hammond and Viscount have developed recently. It would be very nice if so!

Within each section (organ, piano, synth), at the top (near the section On/Off button) there is an LED "FX Focus" >>> I assume that will be used to select which section/panel you would like to change FX parameters for. (possibly)
EDIT:
about link from the French webstore --> I think that description is mixed up from Stage 3 & 4 >> when you click on videos, there is still stage 3 there, which means that they've just copied some info from the 3. It also says doubled memory (2GB) which is actually for S3. If it is for S4, then it's not doubled, it's the same.
