Bought NL4 from UK Owner ; I'm in U.S...

Hello,

I recently bought a NL4 on Reverb.com from an owner in the U.K.

He/she didn't tell me if it was 110v or 230v... I'm 110v here in the U.S.

Any idea how to make this NL4 functional in my country should it not be 110v?

Is it difficult to open up the NL4? WIll it be damaged by doing so?

It's not hard to open the synth - just loosen some screws.
It will not be damaged unless you go crazy with tools on the print plates

Thanks for the reply ; been looking all over for the exact fuse and it's specs it'll need to run in the U.S. - can't seem to find it.

Any ideas on what the fuse info would be, and if it'll fit into the existing fuse holder in the keyboard?

To be precise, you're looking for a fuse with the following specifications, they're quite common:

Size: 1.25"x0.25" (31.75x6.35mm or sometimes listed as 6.3x32mm). A common series of fuses is called "313" for this type, by Littelfuse.
Amperage:
If you want a North American fuse: 0.3A = 300mA = 3/10A "slow blow"
If you want a European / 230/240/250V power supply: 0.15A = 150mA "slow blow"

The voltage rating for the fuse should be 250V in both cases, regardless of the wall voltage.

Please note: this applies, as far as I'm aware*, to all of the Nord keyboards, Stage, Electro, Lead 1/2/2x/3/4/A1, etc.

*Please correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't owned EVERY Nord ever!

Hey @JohnnyFoster, @pterm in the General forum reminded me that some Nords have a 5x20mm fuse and not an 1.25x0.25" fuse. You might want to get one of each size to be sure. We think it's Black vs Dark Grey fuse holders, but we're going to try to collect some more data to be authoritative.
