Extern Midi clock

Post by Nordi »

Hi all
I search in this Forum and other, but i did not find the answer.
I send a midi clock signal to my NS and NE 6. i hope that both (or one) can use the Midi Clock signal to give them a timingsignal for the effectsection. But i think it do not work. It seems to me, that both Nords can not use the timingsignal. The Manual give me no answers.
Can anyone give me more information?

Thanks - Heinz

(edited): only NS3 can sync to an external MIDI Clock, NE6 can't.

On NS3 you don't need to do any setting, it will automatically sync its Master clock (MST CLK) when valid external MIDI Clock data is received on MIDI IN (see NS3 manual page 26 "External Sync")

Of course you will need to set the Arpeggiator and/or LFO and/or effects FX1 and/or Delay to be synced to MST CLK, to use it instead of their own tempo/rate (as explained on NS3 manual on page 16 "Master Clock")
