My Triple Pedal (accessory for Stage 3 88) comes with plastic guards over the pedals. I assume these are to prevent scratches. Do you take them off? Is there any benefit to keeping them, or should I throw them away?
Sorry for Noob question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.

They're just protections and are "supposed" to be taken off before playing. That said, if you feel comfortable playing with them on, by all means just keep them on. It won't hurt anything for sure, and you'll save the actual pedals a bit of scratches, over time.

Thank you. I have left them on so far, but one of them keeps falling off, so I think I will just discard them.Hlaalu wrote:They're just protections and are "supposed" to be taken off before playing. Don't you worry. For 4 years I used a sustain pedal wondering why it was so bulky and plastic... Then I took off the scratch protectormitnosnhoj wrote:Sorry for Noob question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
