Is the Keybed of the stage 3 compact the same as the Nord electro 5d 61? I've heard they they differ a bit.

At least the aftertouch rubber strip makes a difference - the NS3c has it, the NE5D 61 does not. This has an impact on how you „land“ when you hit the keys.

Yes, they are different. The keyboard action is more resistive on Stage 3 C, and it has aftertouch. None of the Electros have aftertouch, so there is maybe less bouncy/spongy action when keys hit the bottom.

I had a stage3-compact and an electro5d/61 and have an electro5d/73. I felt, that the keyb of the 5d/61 was a little bit stiffer, than the keyb of the electro5d/73 - don't know why. the keyb of the stage3-compact felt a little bit weaker - perhaps of the aftertouch (3 contacts). I enjoy the keyb of the electros, but I also could swap to my stage3-88 (changed with the stage3-compact 6 months ago).
